Careers at AnyBuddy Inc
AnyBuddy Inc is building AnyBuddy.AI around Vivi, a buddy who can chat, plan, organize, draft, search, use phone tools with permission, and keep user history on device.
What we are building
AnyBuddy.AI started as lifelong AI buddies for voice and text. The next step is Vivi: a phone-native text-chat buddy that can understand intent, ask for permission, use structured tools, and help users move from conversation to action.
The work spans consumer product, mobile engineering, LLM tool calling, prompt systems, eval harnesses, guardrails, and the practical constraints of shipping agentic AI inside an app people can use every day.
Work areas
Make tool calls, permissions, local files, browser actions, calendars, reminders, contacts, camera, and speech work inside a phone experience.
Design agent behavior that feels natural in chat, with clear handoffs between messages, actions, confirmations, and results.
Build small tests, harnesses, prompts, and safety checks so the buddy remains useful, grounded, and respectful of user intent.
Open roles
We are small and selective. If a role fits, send work evidence and a short note that shows what you want to build.
Internship
Work on Vivi and mobile AI buddy projects around tool calls, runtime design, prompt systems, evals, guardrails, and product-facing assistant workflows.
Hiring process
Send a resume or LinkedIn, project links, and a short note about the part of mobile agentic AI you want to learn by building.
We look for evidence that you can build, debug, explain tradeoffs, and keep momentum without a large formal program around you.
The conversation focuses on fit, availability, expectations, and which scoped learning project would be useful for both sides.
Internship work begins with a focused project, review checkpoints, and written feedback on the technical and product decisions.
